About the role

The Sales and Dealer Engagement Coordinator is an integral part of the relationship maintenance hierarchy between RAM and the Dealer Network across North America. This person will be responsible for providing support both internally and externally. The role focuses on the generation of accurate, detailed quotations that will convert to profitable sales orders. This person needs to be extremely attentive to detail, highly organized and possess excellent communication skills which ultimately will enhance the dealer engagement and contribute to the overall success at RAM.

Responsibilities

Sales & Dealer Support

  • Supporting the sales team by:
  • Oversee and assist with generating quotes based on inputs from sales team members across North America.
  • Assist with handling requests for quotes by phone, email or mail and ensure that those quotes have the correct prices, discounts, product requirements and drawings attached upon issue.
  • Assist with the conversion of quotes to sales orders for dealers across Canada and North America.
  • Ensuring that all sales orders are signed, accompanied by a signed set of drawings, as well as adherence to the deposit requirements before proceeding to either engineering or production.
  • The ability to interpret what sales orders can go directly to production vs requires engineering review to avoid unnecessary internal and external delays.
  • Promptly responding to all internal and external inquiries, informing of delays, communicating delivery dates etc. in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered on time by coordinating with the internal departments.
  • Conducting regular follow ups with dealers on existing quotations and track the feedback in an electronical spreadsheet
  • Solicit new sales leads, look for industry potential and/or opportunities and track these leads/potential/opportunities in an electronic spreadsheet and be prepared to present this information in a report format upon request
  • Regularly engage with current dealers to understand their needs, challenges and obtain feedback and track this information electronically to be used to prepare reports upon request

File Management

  • Navigate the shared drive and maintain a neat and tidy electronic project management folder to be shared with others
  • Scan and maintain sales folder in a neat and tidy manner

Communication

  • Responsible for relaying relevant information to management that is obtained from regular engagement with dealers regarding their needs, challenges, and feedback
  • Notifying management as soon as an issue with an order is identified that can’t be resolved without assistance.

Misc.

  • Additional duties as assigned by Management.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Experience – Recent inside sales experience required
  • Communication – Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency – Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge – of Lifts and Elevators preferable

Asset:

· Knowledge of CRM and order management systems is a plus.
