1. Does the Trus-T-Lift Require Construction?
One of the best features of our Trus-T-Lift is that it requires minimal installation and construction. Our porch lift only requires a 5ft x 5ft area, regardless of the rise, allowing homeowners to install our Trus-T-Lift anywhere on their property. RAM’s Trus-T-Lift is designed to be seamlessly installed into any home as it is delivered in 3 separate parts and, depending on the size, can be assembled and ready to use in as little as a few hours. When installing our Trus-T-Lift, all you need is to mount it to a wall, especially for porch lifts that travel greater than 52in, a 15 am, 110V dedicated circuit no further than 8 feet away and a secure footing (typically a 5ft x 5ft concrete pad).
2. Is the Trus-T-Lift Noisy?
Unlike other porch lifts on the market, the Trus-T-Lift is equipped with RAM’s proprietary All-Electric Drive System that is powerful, reliable and quiet. With the all-electric drive system, the Trus-T-Lift does not require any hydraulic fluid to operate, eliminating any harsh smells and requiring minimal maintenance.
3. How Safe is the Trus-T-Lift?
Equipped with three tiers of emergency auxiliary power, the Trus-T-Lift offers passengers a safe ride, even during a power outage. The first level of emergency is our standard emergency manual crank that helps lower the lift as well as a battery backup for car lighting and controls. The second level of emergency is installing an optional battery backup that will run the motor in a downward direction during a power outage. The third level of emergency is installing an optional full battery backup that will run the motor for 40 cycles with a full load during a power outage. All three emergency backups are designed to ensure that the Trus-T-Lift operates safely, even during a power outage. Other safety features can be installed in the Trus-T-Lift, such as:
