At RAM Elevators + Lifts, we have a sophisticated and growing dealer network across North America. Our network helps dealers promote, install, and support their customers with long-term care. RAM is committed to the success and growth of residential elevator dealers with our tangible, comprehensive support. Below, we’ll explore all about how RAM helps train its dealers, provides resources, and builds lasting relationships. Read on with us below!

What Sets RAM Apart

At RAM, our dealer support is more than just a telephone number or email address. Our training goes further. We have dedicated, hands-on training that takes place at our newly-built training centre at our corporate headquarters. Here, dealers receive tailored training on all aspects of our residential elevators and lifts.

During training with RAM, you’ll:

  • Receive comprehensive demonstrations
  • Build a residential elevator yourself
  • Discuss code compliance and technical best practices
  • Participate in interactive Q&A sessions
  • Network with other residential elevator dealers

Around these training sessions, we’re continuing to build a network of training resources like videos, photos, and other media. We aim to create an extensive knowledge base for our expanding network of dealers.

A Team That Understands Code Compliance

Ensuring our residential elevators meet code isn’t just important to us; it’s important to you as a dealer. While all of our residential elevators are fully code-compliant with both Canadian and American standards, there’s much more to code compliance than that.

Code compliance intersects multiple jurisdictions. Take welding, for example, which is overseen by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). They inspect our RAM residential elevators and lifts. These standards ensure that the welds in place are strong enough to ensure the structural integrity of the components. As a dealer, if you sell a residential elevator that the CWB hasn’t cleared, you can be liable for safety failures—whether it’s a small cold weld or a bigger issue.

At RAM, we have a dedicated team of code consultants with decades of experience. During our hands-on training sessions, dealers can have one-on-one time with RAM’s code consultants. Dealers will learn about vital information for overall safety and code compliance, including the most up-to-date standards and common failed inspection pitfalls.

The All-Encompassing Support Dealers Deserve

At RAM, we know that selling residential elevators to your customers requires comprehensive, end-to-end support. That’s why we’re always looking forward and developing new resources to provide to our dealers. We’re committed to building formal, structured programs on each of our products. Partnering with us means support for your entire operation, from technical assistance to best practices for hiring and training your technicians.

At RAM, all of our residential elevators and lifts are 100% North-American-made and manufactured. From material sourcing to quality control, we do this to ensure we have an eye on everything. This includes comprehensive testing, where all of our residential elevators are tested to 225% lifting capacity in our full-scale testing room. By overseeing all processes, we’re ensuring we continue driving innovation to meet and surpass our lead time goals for dealers all over North America.
